Got home from serving in Iraq November 06UPDATED 
I'm in the U.S. Navy. I go to the U.S. Naval Academy, and I'll be graduating in less than 8 months and becoming an officer. I'm planning on becoming a Naval Flight Officer (I'll sit in the backseat of the jet and navigate and control the weapons systems). It's been my dream to be a military aviator since I was in 5th grade.

Just about the closest thing to soldiers that I know are some people that almost served in Vietnam ('almost' as in their draft numbers had come up), but thankfully it ended before they had to go.
